Fee Structure
Services provided by a Registered Social Worker (RSW) may be eligible for reimbursement through extended health benefit plans. Please check with your insurance provider to confirm your coverage.
Individual Psychotherapy
To ensure equitable access to therapy, I provide a transparent, tiered fee structure that acknowledges the economic inequalities and systemic barriers many people encounter when trying to access the care they deserve, especially those belonging to marginalized groups.
When determining which rate is most accessible and sustainable to you, I ask that folks consider their privilege, financial security/independence, and the systemic barriers they experience. After our initial consultation, prospective clients will be sent questions to review to finalize their rate for service. I welcome all questions that may come up during this determination and do not require any documentation regarding your financial realities.
Please note that Solidarity and Pro-Bono spaces have limited availability and are reserved for individuals without extended health benefits that experience barriers to accessing therapy. When it is accessible and sustainable, those who are able to pay the Redistribution or Standard rate allows me to provide more reduced cost or pro-bono services.
Redistribution
$200.00 per
50-minute session
$230.00 per
80-minute session
Individuals who are able to afford this rate will partially fund Solidarity and Pro-Bono spots. This rate is for those who are financially secure/independent that want to support others in accessing services
Standard Rate
$150.00 per
50-minute session
$180.00 per
80-minute session
This is the standard rate for individual psychotherapy
Sustain
Sliding scale between
$110.00 - $140.00 per 50-minute session
$150.00 - $170.00 per 80-minute session
This rate is for those who can afford most of the standard rate, but require some flexibility
Solidarity
Sliding scale between $75.00 - $100.00 per 50-minute session
This rate is for those with limited financial resources that do not have extended health benefits and experience barriers to accessing therapy. Limited spaces and not available for 80-minute sessions
Pro-Bono
This rate is for those who are most impacted by systemic oppression, have limited financial resources, do not have extended health benefits and experience barriers to accessing therapy.
I am not accepting new pro-bono clients at this time.
Transition-Related Surgical Assessments
Sliding scale between $75.00 - $150.00
(Cost includes one 60-minute session and one letter)
A note on cost and access: I believe that these assessments should be free and accessible to anyone who wishes to undergo transition-related lower surgery. However, to sustain my practice and this service, I offer a reduced rate for secondary assessments. For individuals who do not have extended health benefits and cannot afford the lower end of my sliding scale, please reach out to me directly to discuss the possibility of accessing a more reduced rate or pro-bono assessment.
